Dan Houdek

Founder & President

Daniel Houdek is the President & Owner of Impact Events with 21 years of DMC experience, and over 35 years in the hospitality industry. His experience includes all sides of the business, including over 15 years delivering on the exceptionally high standards of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. His knowledge, exclusive arrangements and contacts offer many options that other destination experts don’t know or can’t offer - the result of years of research and an unceasing desire to create unforgettable experiences.

Salina Lohacharoen

Director of Operations

Salina was born and raised in Southern California. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree

in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She has been at Impact Events for four years. Her expertise in creative thinking and multitasking has made her successful in every role she has been given. As a director of operations, Salina is responsible for being the main contact throughout the operation phase.

Tim Ranuio

Senior Account Manager

​Tim has been in the Meeting, Incentive, and Corporate travel planning business for over two decades. He has lived in Napa for 18 years and specializes in unique Wine Country experiences from team building events to discovering hidden gems in both Napa and Sonoma Counties. With over 20 years in the industry, Tim provides one-of-a-kind insight on everything in wine country.

Jordan Weiser

Sales and Program Coordinator

Jordan was born and raised in Ventura County. He graduated from San Francisco State with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. He has been at Impact Events for a little over a year. As a Sales & Program Coordinator, Jordan works close with our clients to develop customized proposals for each group, and succeeds in exceeding our clients expectations.

Michelle Macias

Sales and Program Coordinator

Michelle is the newest team member at Impact Events. She is a recent graduate from San Francisco State University and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Event Management. Her creative mind and quick thinking has made her a wonderful addition to this team. She was born and raised in the Bay Area, and enjoys seeking out the best restaurants and activities in the city. 

Alexis Van Meeteren

Senior Account Manager

Alexis was born and raised in Palm Springs. Once deciding the Bay Area was her new home, she moved to Sausalito in 2008 and graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. With a career now spanning over a decade in the travel industry and event production, Alexis Van Meeteren has found her passion in organizing events and activities that allow people to dive deeper into their connection with themselves, the land, and the local community.

Jill Milne

 Jill arrives with over 25 years of experience in Marketing, Fundraising and Events, including positions at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the 2002 Winter Olympics in Utah and the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. As a volunteer, she has contributed hundreds of hours to Tahoe-area non-profits, including serving on the board of The Shane McConkey Foundation. 

Donna Lovett

Donna is our Half Moon Bay local coordinator, who is looking forward to planning more programs. Donna has lived in Half Moon Bay for many years, and is very knowledgeable about the best in the area. She is very helpful when walking clients through site-visits, and makes the experience exciting and memorable.
